Wilfredo Pérez

My name is Wilfredo Pérez. Venezuelan freelance cartoonist.

I was born in 1982 in the city of Barquisimeto, I currently reside in the town where I grew up, Yaritagua.
The passion for illustration and drawing started as soon as I could hold a pencil. I was trained with cartoonists watching cartoons and hunting random comics among the shops in my town.

My professional career is in the branch of brand and website design, which gave me digital tools to combine with drawing. I am the creative director of Ideaestudio.com. I have over 20 years of experience in digital design and commercial illustration. Since 2000 I have been working professionally in the area of ​​advertising and commercial design. Where I could share and learn from professionals in different digital and creative areas.
At the beginning of 2020, I launched the Saga del Sol project, an epic fantasy universe based on American cultures, both pre-Hispanic and post-conquest. By the middle of the same year I joined the P.A.N.A. with whom I undertook my first comic project «El Libreto». This 2021 he welcomes us with «El Tesoro de Aguirre» available. And new projects are coming.

Currently I am also dedicated to making comics and commissions.
